Welcome

Based in Gerringong and  Kiama, NSW, The Water Runners play a high energy blend of Australian folk, performing original songs with influences from bluegrass, country and rockabilly as well as the work of contemporary folk artists like Paul Kelly. The Water Runners have played festivals, radio, pubs, clubs and events from Sydney to the Snowy and the far south coast and, in 2019, finished recording a new album, 'Point of No Return', under the guiding hand of Australian Bluegrass legend, John Kane (Flying Emus). We are stoked to be playing at Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2020.

Check out our upcoming gigs and listen to (and hopefully purchase) our music via the 'Music' tab in the menu bar above.

It's now available! Our new album for 2019 with 10 great new songs.
